Voter Management

VOTEC’s WelcomeVoter Kiosk (WVK) for voter check-in and ballot selection enables election administrators to achieve a high level of usability, accessibility, security, and management functionality by implementing software proven since 2007, VoteSafe, into the fully HAVA and ADA compliant voter and poll worker supportive experience, the WelcomeVoter Kiosk.
Voters with disabilities see that a WVK empowers them to check-in privately, and, very gratifying to those with disabilities, independently. By utilizing the WelcomeVoter Kiosk, the voter can confidently and quickly move through the voting authorization process.
Voter-Focused Benefits Include:
Present all options and instructions on screen to overcome verbal communication diffiuclties.
Minimize mistakes and delays resulting from verbal miscommunication.
Speed up check-in when communication issues are minimized.
Offer private selection of party-specific ballots in primary elections.
Eliminate screen sharing ending pressure on the voter to hurry their use of their screen time.
Present voter information at ADA prescribed height for standing users.
Deliver accessibility across 99% of the range of disabilities.
Provide voters the comfort of seeing the process kiosk style rather than hidden on the poll worker screen.
Make it easy for voters to specify corrections needed to their registration record.

Poll Worker Comfort Also Maximized
People with election responsibility will be more comfortable when on screen communications from the election authorities tell the voters what they need to know. Your poll workers will not need to interpret the law for any voter.
If an unusual issue does arrise, it will be at the level the election office should be contacted. Poll Worker training to use a WVK is 100% captured in our training video suite with views of their screens and the screens the voters will be seeing at the same time. At the polls, the poll worker can pop up a view of the voter screen. They aren't expected to memorize those screens.
Stackable Case
A rugged, expedition-grade case protects the WelcomeVoter Kiosk during transport. Between deployments this stackable case also enables recharging of WelcomeVoter Kiosk without removing it from its case.
